Our Management Team



World Star's management team has a proven track record in evaluating, acquiring, leasing, and divesting used aircraft, and extensive experience in all facets of the aviation services industry, from aircraft overhauls to records management:



John Flynn, Chairman

Before founding World Star, Flynn was President of Triton for seven years, and prior to that, Executive Vice President of Marketing for GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS). Earlier executive experience included positions as Senior Vice President of Marketing at GECAS; Vice President of North America and Vice President of Cargo for Polaris Aircraft Leasing Corporation.

Sean O'Connor, COO

Prior to joining World Star, O'Connor was Vice President of Aircraft Marketing at Triton where he helped develop Triton Aviation. Before joining Triton, O'Connor was Vice President, Aircraft Marketing, North America for GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) and earlier, Manager, Aircraft Marketing for Polaris Aircraft Leasing Corporation. O'Connor started his aviation career in 1990.

Garreth Slevin, CFO

Before assuming finance responsibilities at World Star, Slevin was Director of Finance at Triton and responsible for managing all finance and treasury activities. Prior experience included accounting positions with Triton Container International Limited and Ericsson Systems Expertise in Ireland.

Tommy Guttman, Vice President

Prior to joining World Star, Guttman was employed by US Naval Air Force and Israeli Aircraft Industries (IAI) in various aerospace engineering and developmental projects. For the past ten years he was heavily involved in the marketing, development and deployment of the various conversion programs that IAI developed. Guttman was also appointed the Chairman of IAI's Conversions Marketing and Development Board.

Raquel Brinkman, Director/Finance

Brinkman is working concurrently with World Star and as President of Triton. Prior to joining Triton in 2001, Raquel worked as Director of Accounting at Move.com and at Deloitte & Touche LLP, in additional to several other accounting positions at a high tech start-up and manufacturing company.

Yoyo Allalouf, Director

Prior to joining World Star, Allalouf worked in his family owned shipping operation and was involved with the business development of Allalouf Shipping & Co. Ltd and Iscont Lines Ltd. During this time he acquired extensive knowledge of the transportation market. Allaouf established Galaxy Aviation, an operating lessor based in Ireland in 2005. Prior to rejoining his family business, Allalouf worked in Italy for Pacorini S.R.L, a commodities logistics and transportation company in the Mediterranean. Allalouf also spent 7 years in Japan where he founded a telecommunications company which grew to be a well-recognized foreign operator in the local market.

Marc Iarchy, Director

Iarchy joined World Star in October 2012. Iarchy has 20 years of corporate finance experience, being a partner and co-founder of Phoenix Corporate Finance Partners. Prior to founding Phoenix, Iarchy was at Bear Stearns, Credit Suisse First Boston and Lehman Brothers in London and New York, having executed dozens of cross border M&A and financing transactions.
